首から肩にかけて、菱形の格子文様が浮かぶ透明なガラスボトル。型に吹き込んで模様をつける「型吹き」は、19世紀前半のヨーロッパで広く用いられた装飾ガラスの技法で、リブ入りの型に吹き込んだのち軽く捻ることで、このような菱格子状の文様が生まれます。スウェーデンでは19世紀初頭にコスタ（Kosta）をはじめとするガラス工房が相次いで設立され、国内向けの実用ガラス器の生産が本格化した時期にあたります。 食卓で酒（シュナップスなど）を注ぐボトルとして使われていたと考えられます。スウェーデン、19世紀前半。
