A wooden stand with a conical head form on a slender foot, with a scrap of fabric pinned to it. It's thought to be either an antique doll's wig itself, or a tool used to hold one in place. The fabric at the crown and what appear to be pencil-marked measurements suggest it was fitted to a specific doll's head.Europe, 19th–early 20th century.
