ハート形の板に、コバルトブルーの花文様を手描きしたファイアンス（錫釉陶器）製のインクスタンド。中央にインク容器を差し込む穴、その周囲に小さな穴が3つ開いていますが、裏面に吊り金具は無く卓上で使う形式です。小さな穴の用途（ペン置き・紐通しなど）は不明です。フランス、18〜19世紀。

A heart-shaped faience (tin-glazed earthenware) inkstand hand-painted with a cobalt blue floral motif. A hole in the center holds the ink container, surrounded by three smaller holes; there is no hanging fitting on the back, so it was meant to sit on a desk. The purpose of the small holes — perhaps for pens, perhaps for cord — is unknown. France, 18th–19th century.
